I am currently an undergrad junior pursuing a double major in cross-cultural media and intercultural studies at Biola University. As evident by my majors, I love to travel and explore different cultures, as I believe there is so much in the world to see and learn. Before college, my family lived in Europe where I began keeping a travel journal and thus my passion for stories of distant places and quests for adventures began.

As the current Editor-in-Chief of The Chimes newspaper, that passion has combined with a quest for truth in the midst of culture. Prior to EIC, I was a news editor and freelancer for The Chimes. I also formerly served as a community groups intern with my school’s Global Student Programs and Development department for a year, and as a journalism intern with Operation Mobilization in Lebanon for 2 months. You can read more about my work and volunteer experience on my resume.

During my time in college, I have had an increasing interest in Islam and the Middle East/North Africa (MENA) region. I aspire to use my passion for traveling and writing to build bridges of understanding between Muslim and Christian communities based on truth and grace.
